If a block or layout looks perfect inside the PixeBuilder editor but appears broken, unstyled, or missing on your live website, it is usually related to caching or a conflict with another tool. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Clear All Caches
The most common reason for visual glitches is that your browser or website is loading an older, saved version of the page.
- Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies, or try opening the page in an Incognito/Private window.
- Plugin Cache: If you use a caching or performance plugin (like WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, or Autoptimize), clear or purge the cache from the plugin's settings.
- Server/Host Cache: Many managed WordPress hosts (like Cloudways, Kinsta, or SiteGround) have server-level caching. Look for a "Purge Cache" button in your top WordPress admin bar or inside your hosting dashboard.
- Cloudflare / CDN Cache: If your site routes through Cloudflare or another Content Delivery Network (CDN), log in to your Cloudflare dashboard, navigate to the Caching > Configuration menu, and click Purge Everything.
Check for Plugin Conflicts
Sometimes, the CSS or JavaScript from another plugin can interfere with PixeBuilder's styling.
- Temporarily deactivate all other plugins except for PixeBuilder.
- Check your live page. If the element now displays correctly, reactivate your other plugins one by one, checking the page each time, to identify which plugin is causing the conflict.
Ensure Everything is Up to Date
Running an outdated version of PixeBuilder, your theme, or WordPress itself can cause compatibility issues.
- Go to your WordPress Updates page and ensure you are running the latest version of PixeBuilder.
- Note: If you are using the Pro version, simply downloading and uploading the latest plugin file will update it.
