To use the Browse Stock Images feature within the editor, you need to connect your site to Pexels using an API key. This integration is free and takes less than two minutes to set up.
1. Get Your Free API Key
- Visit the Pexels API Page and log in (or create a free account).
- Click on "Your API Key" (or "Request API Key").
- Fill in the brief form about your website.
- Copy the unique API key provided to your clipboard.
2. Add the Key to Pixebuilder
- Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Go to PixeBuilder > Integration > Stock Image Settings
- Find the Pexels API Key field.
- Paste your key and click Save Changes.
3. Verification
Once saved, open any page in the Pixebuilder editor. Use an Image Item or Gallery Item and click the Browse Stock Images button. You should now see a searchable gallery of high-quality photos.
Note: Pexels provides a generous free tier (200 requests/hour), which is more than enough for most designers. If you hit this limit, you can request an increase directly from Pexels for free.
