License & Sites Management

Manage your active PixeBuilder installations, monitor your limits, and protect your license key from the License & Sites menu at account.pixebuilder.com.

Viewing Your License Details

At the top of the page, you can find your unique License Code, a link to your latest Invoice, and your current Usage statistics (e.g., how many sites you have activated out of your total limit).

Changing Sites (Moving a License)

To keep things simple when moving your PixeBuilder license from an old website to a new one, follow these exact steps:

  1. Remove from Dashboard: First, locate the old site in your Site List and remove it.
  2. Uninstall the Plugin: Log into the WordPress admin of your old site and completely uninstall the PixeBuilder plugin.
  3. Install on New Site: Finally, install and activate the plugin on your new website.

Managing Unauthorized Usage (The Ban Button)

If your license code is ever leaked and you notice unrecognized websites taking up your usage quota in your Site List, you can revoke their access to free up your limits.

  • Click the Ban button next to the unauthorized site to block it from using your license.
  • You can also use the Bulk actions (Ban, Unban, Remove) at the bottom of the list to manage multiple sites at once.

Advanced Scenarios & Troubleshooting

Depending on how you remove sites and plugins, you might encounter the following situations:

  • Site Reappears in Dashboard: If you remove a site from your dashboard but do not uninstall the plugin from that old site, the site will automatically re-appear in your dashboard list later.
  • Site Remains in Dashboard: If you uninstall the plugin from an old site but do not remove it from your dashboard, the site will continue to take up a slot on your list.
  • Exceeding License Limits: If you attempt to install the plugin on a new site when you have no available licenses left, you will see a "No Active License Detected" message in the WordPress backend of that new site. Inside your dashboard, that site will automatically show up with a "Banned" status.
  • Auto-Banning Old Sites: If you hit your license limit, remove an old site from the dashboard, and install it on a new site, the new site will work. However, if you forgot to uninstall the plugin from the old site, that old site will eventually reappear in your list as "Banned."
